I am not going to lie to you. I do not need money to help me cover the website costs. I do not need help making a living. Website business, so to speak, and the day job are doing just fine, no worries there, touch wood. But I could do with some extra extra money for super perks, which is where you step in.
What am I trying to say?
If you like Dedoimedo and feel this compelling urge to support this website, let me tell you what I intend to do with earned profits. I'm going to buy myself a hot hatchback, a small-sized, mid-range sports car. Specifically, we're talking Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Where I live, this car costs USD55,000. Now, since I'm going to have to pay approx. 50% taxes on my business profits, we should aim for USD100,000 just to be on the safe side. As you can see, I'm being fairly modest with my desires. I am not asking for something as outrageous as Pagani Zonda or a Lamborghini. I not asking even for Golf R. I will do just fine with Golf GTI.
So there we go, our goal: Golf GTI Mk.6, preferably red. For illustration purposes:
In theory, since there are some 500 thousand visits to Dedoimedo every month, if every one of you purchased the book or the map for as little as one dollar, we could easily reach the target before the month's end. Even if every tenth person spent as little as one dollar, we would still meet the goal in less than two months. But that's probably pushing it. Let's aim for New Year's Eve. That would be a lovely present.
